Philanthropy Events

DG hosts two annual fundraisers: Anchor Freeze, a broomball tournament held in the fall, and Pancake Feed in the winter, an all you can eat pancake bar. All the proceeds from our two larger philanthropic events go towards Service for Sight and the Delta Gamma Foundation.

In addition to these larger events, we also have smaller service opportunities. For example, every week, girls volunteer to help a woman named Marie take notes from her Braille textbook. Marie’s mother is then able to help her study for her exams using these notes. Since both the USABA and Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind are right around the corner, we are often able to help them with smaller events and tasks with which they need help.
